We use your information to: provide and improve our services, process and display property listings, communicate with you about your account and listings, send notifications and updates, prevent fraud and ensure platform security, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with: service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, analytics), other users (when you list a property, your contact information may be visible), and legal authorities when required by law.
When you contact a lister
When you are signed in and contact a lister about a listing (call, WhatsApp, email, callback or visit request), that lister — an individual or an agency — receives your name, phone number and email so they can follow up, and their team can find them in their contact-management space on Teelam. Listers see how many times their listings were viewed, saved and shared, but not who viewed them; they only see who saved or shared a listing when that person has already contacted them. Teelam administrators can review listing activity, including which signed-in users contacted, saved or shared a listing and the country and device used, to run, secure and improve the platform. You can stop sharing your details with listers at any time in your account settings ("Share my contact with listers"); a lister you call or message on WhatsApp will still see your number that way.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption, secure servers, and regular security audits. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to: access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion of your data, opt-out of marketing communications, and withdraw consent for data processing (where applicable).
