What is Teelam?

Whether you're searching for your next home or listing a property, Teelam makes real estate simple, transparent, and accessible for everyone.
Is Teelam really free?
Yes! Teelam is 100% free for everyone. You can browse properties, search with filters, list unlimited properties, upload photos, and contact property owners, all at no cost. There are no hidden fees, no subscriptions, and no premium plans. We believe everyone in N'Djamena deserves access to modern real estate tools.
Which areas does Teelam cover?
Teelam currently serves N'Djamena and its surrounding areas. We're working on expanding to more regions of Chad in the future.
What languages does Teelam support?
Teelam is available in three languages: French, English, and Arabic. You can switch between languages at any time using the language selector in the navigation menu. This ensures that everyone in our diverse community can use Teelam comfortably.
Listing Properties
How do I list a property on Teelam?
First, you must sign in or create a free account. Then you have two ways to create a property listing: (1) Click on your profile menu and select 'Create new property' (or 'Créer une nouvelle annonce' in French), or (2) Go to 'My Properties' and click the button to create a new property. You'll be guided through 5 easy steps: upload photos, enter property information, mark the location on a map, add rooms and features, then review and publish.
What are the steps to create a property listing?
Creating a property listing has 5 simple steps: Step 1 - Upload Photos (minimum 3, maximum 10 high-quality photos). Step 2 - Property Info (type of property, usage, price, size, description). Step 3 - Location (mark your property on an interactive map and add address details). Step 4 - Rooms & Features (bedrooms, bathrooms, amenities like AC, WiFi, parking, etc.). Step 5 - Review & Publish (check everything and publish your listing).
How many photos can I upload?
You must upload at least 3 photos and can upload up to 10 high-quality photos per property. We recommend including photos of the exterior, living areas, bedrooms, kitchen, and bathroom. Good photos help your property get more attention!
Do I need to sign in to list a property?
Yes, you must create a free account and sign in to list properties. This helps us maintain quality listings and allows property owners to manage their listings. Creating an account only takes a minute!
Searching for Properties
How do I search for properties?
You can search for properties by using our powerful search filters. Click on 'All Filters' to access options including: Property Usage (for sale, monthly rent, daily rent), Property Types (house, apartment, villa, land, commercial space, etc.), Price Range, Number of Bedrooms and Bathrooms, Amenities (AC, WiFi, parking, pool, furnished, etc.), Location (neighborhood, district).
Can I save my favorite properties?
Yes! When you're signed in, you can click the heart icon on any property to save it to your favorites. Access your saved properties anytime from your profile menu.
How do I contact a property owner?
On each property listing page, you'll find contact information for the property owner, including phone numbers, WhatsApp, and email. You can reach out directly through your preferred method.
Account & Security
How do I create an account?
Click 'Sign In' in the top navigation, then select 'Sign up here'. Enter your name, email, phone number, and create a password. Verify your email address, and you're all set!
Is my information secure?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your personal information and data. Your privacy and security are our top priorities.
I forgot my password. What should I do?
Click 'Sign In', then 'Forgot your password?'. Enter your email and we'll send you instructions to reset your password.
